Baby colic commonly called as infantile colic has many other names which include newborn colic, three months colic or simply as colic. Few other concrete measures for baby colic relief are proper breastfeeding, avoidance of dairy products, nuts and chocolates by breastfeeding mothers, proper feeding position, proper sleeping position with 30 degree inclination, proper burping after every feed, reasonable use of breast milk as compared to bottle milk, regular feeding intervals, provision of suitable environment to the baby and suitable diet.
Do remember that at 2 or 3 months of life the baby is getting accustomed to this new world so certain problems occur which usually subside with growing age when the child completely adapts to the environment.
